The work of olden-day craftspeople wins hands down

These pillars which have been exquisitely surfaced by hand with a trowel, not only show off great detail and impressive finish, they also seem to hold the soul of the artists who created them.

In today’s age where efficiency is the most esteemed quality in architectural design, it is clear that the craftspeople of older times were not afraid to pour their heart, time and energy into the creation of a building.

Although in modern day we have a plethora of new technology advancing our designs, it seems to be no match for older times.  We’ll just have to swallow our pride and accept the impossibility of recreating the greatness that once was.
